The battle for Castle Arms continues to fester as a group of Mayors representing multiple municipalities would like to see the non-profit corporation moved into the hands of Cassellholme. East Nipissing Mayor Rick Champagne is looking for mediation between the Mayor's Committee on Castle Arms and the board of Castle Arms so that they can come to some sort of agreement on the governance of the assets.

Wild Ride Leads to Impaired Charges
Concerned residents of Marshall Park Avenue were awakened to the sound of a truck barrelling over and landing on top of two parked vehicles. The driver fled from police but was later located and charged with operation while impaired, fail to remain at the scene of an accident, and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
Motorcycle Ride for Charity
