The FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre was once again home for the second annual "Songs Of The City", where inspiring speakers teamed up with some of Canada's finest singers and songwriters, to share their stories and songs of struggles, hope and triumph.

Wayzgoose Annual Book Arts Fair. Every year on the last Saturday of April a fascinating group of private press printers, bookbinders, print makers, paper marblers and other artisans gather at the Grimsby Public Art Gallery to celebrate the art of the hand-made books. Over 40 exhibitors display their work and provide live demonstrations in traditional book arts practices, sharing their expertise with the next generation of artists and artisans.

In honour of Earth Day, The Friends of Malcolmson Eco-Park and volunteers from the community helped clean up the North St. Catharines Park. Invasive species were removed and native species were planted. Brenda Schultz tells you more.
