Culture Days are underway across the region and one exhibit at Oakville Museum is giving residents a chance to slow down, reflect, and rethink the way we experience art and sleep! Milton Mayor Gord Krantz and Oakville Mayor Rob Burton have called on Halton Regional Council to pass a resolution calling on the Federal Government to table legislation on bail reform at the earliest opportunity. Jason Agnew spoke to the Milton mayor about why he's attempting to tackle an issue that is under federal jurisdiction at a municipal level.

Intimate partner violence continues to be a significant issue in Halton. Halton Regional Police recently shared statistics that show hundreds of arrests and thousands of charges laid last year. Those were presented at "Safe Haven", an event in Georgetown where survivors and agencies who help women escape from these situations gathered.
