Brain Works helps keep the mind flexible

Norm Miller's compostable coffee pod bill passes second reading
Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller debated his private member's bill at Queen's Park on Nov. 23. Known as the Reducing Waste One Pod at a Time Act, Miller received a lot of support from other members of parliament.
Waterloo Summit Centre to potentially become a rehab facility
Huntsville council declared the Waterloo Summit Centre for the Environment surplus after a $3.9-million dollar offer from De Novo Trust Fund. The decision was made at a regular council meeting on Monday Nov. 27. The plan is to turn the summit centre into a rehabilitation centre. CAO Denise Corry discusses what this means and next steps. The Town of Huntsville will be looking for public input.
Huntsville High School does Rock of Ages
Known for putting on big productions every two years, Huntsville High School is back at it again this year with Rock of Ages, which will be performed at the Algonquin Theatre. Starts Nov. 29 and runs until Dec. 3. You can get tickets here or by calling the Algonquin Theatre box office at 705-789-4975.
