The 18th annual Walk a mile in HER shoes will take place on Saturday, October 19th at the Niagara Pen Centre in St. Catharines. Graeme Dargavel joins Anthony Luongo in studio to talk about this year's event.

Start Me Up Niagara's Mobile Closet is set to host "Stuff the Truck 2" on Sunday, September 22nd from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Fairview Mall in St. Catharines. They're kindly asking for donations of hygiene supplies. Anthony Luongo files this report.

The Pumphouse Arts Centre held their award ceremony for the 2024 Niagara-on-the-Lake Hydro Box Beautification Competition. This annual competition celebrates the creativity and talent of Niagara Region artists who vie for the chance to transform ordinary hydro boxes into captivating works of public art.

Kendra Finlay, Clinical Supervisor at Besethda Services, visited Anthony on The Source recently to talk about just some of their services, including the Superstar Program, free programs offered virtually, Children Behavioral Services, and ACT - Acceptance and Commitment Training. 

Bethesda inspires, encourages and empowers children, youth, and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and their families, to live their best lives.

The Source attended the book launch for Landscape of Nations: Beyond the Mist. The anthology gives an thorough look at 13,000 years of Indigenous presence in Niagara. 

The Niagara Falls Summer Trillium Recognition of Excellence Ceremony is an annual beautification recognition program delivered by the Environmental Action Committee and the City of Niagara Falls. Over 100 properties were recognized for their outstanding curbside landscaping.

We were honoured to to attend the first Niagara-On-The-Lake "Key To The Town" Ceremony, presented by Lord Mayor Gary Zalepa to celebrated painter & illustrator Trisha Romance.
