Major Darren Wiseman from the Salvation Army Huntsville, Heather Berg from The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation and James Hunt from The Door Youth Centre discuss their organizations on Muskoka Matters, Dec. 10. They also discuss the local need how the holidays can affect families and those that are without.
Food Security in Muskoka
In the Dec. 3, 2018 episode of Muskoka Matters, Kelli Ebbs and Keri-Lyn Freebird, from the Muskoka North Good Food Co-op, joins Anthony Asturi to discuss access to local, sustainable and healthy food in Muskoka. They also discussed food insecurity and waste in society and what we need to do to change that.
The Legalization of Cannabis

Muskoka Matters April 9: Canadian Cancer Society
April is Canadian Cancer Awareness Month. In this episode, guests include Linda Smith, the Huntsville Branch President of the Canadian Cancer Society, David Trethewey, a volunteer driver from Gravenhurst and Art Sibley, a community ambassador.
Guests discussed the importance of the Canadian Cancer Society and shared personal stories about why they got involved.
