This weekend past, the Laurentian Ski Hill hosted the Agnico Eagle Classic, and local skiers rose to the occasion. Over 100 young athletes (U12, U10, U8, U6) from North Bay, Sudbury, Timmins, Elliot Lake, Mattawa, Sault Ste. Marie and Mont Kanasuta (Quebec) participated in slalom and giant slalom events.
