Description: Session 3: Sun Prints – Specifically designed for youth with special needs, and an interest in fine arts, to explore art mediums through self-expression. Let’s explore the photographic printing process of creating cyanotypes or photographic blueprints! Participants will learn about the early uses of cyanotypes and its inventor. Participants will place found objects on photosensitive paper. Using the power of the sun to develop their photos, participants will expose the paper to the light to create their very own “sun prints”. Early arrival welcome at 4:30PM. Materials included. Spaces are limited. Ages 9-16. Registration required by calling 519-336-8127 ext. 3226. Caretaker or respite worker is required to provide support during the Art Pod workshop. Participants should be able to follow one-step directions. Free, give what you can.
