On Thursday, September 20, Michael Cole from Queen's University will speak on Sustaining the Oceans, focusing on the negative impact of plastics in our oceans, both on the natural environment and on the creatures which inhabit it. Come learn why plastics are found nearly everywhere, why they're so hard to dispose of safely, and what we as consumers can do to reduce our plastic waste.   At 2 p.m., at the Isabel Turner branch library.
