(Pembroke) The Northern Old Bastards Vintage Motorcycle Club recently rode in to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation to gift $320 to the Cutting Edge Campaign.

“Our members reside in communities across the Upper Ottawa Valley, so we’re pleased to help the Pembroke Regional Hospital make a real difference in the lives of Renfrew County families,” said Stu MacFarlane, NOBVMC Vice-President.

The dedicated group of rare and vintage motorcycle enthusiasts comes together once a month to promote riding, biking and classic and vintage motorcycle events. As a repeat supporter of the PRHF, the group raises funds through breakfasts, selling t-shirts and through membership fees.

Accepting the donation was PRHF Executive Director, Nancy Warren: “We are grateful that the NOBVMC continues to make our hospital needs a priority in their fundraising efforts.”

“NOBVMC is a encouraging example of how individuals who share an interest, activity or passion can help drive positive change to their communities,” continued Mrs. Warren.
