We’re moving! Our popular downtown Market for Africa returns for its 11th year in Kingston. Saturday, November 3, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., now at Crossroads United Church, 690 Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd., Kingston, Ont. (across from the Kingston Centre). Easy access by bus, still in the centre of town, lots of parking. Admission is free.

We offer a bowl of soup for lunch, and shopping for gifts from Africa and beyond. Grannies’ sewing, baking and other goodies, hand made treasures, New to You: jewelry, home décor, art and clothing. Our popular African baskets and Christmas Crafts. We always offer a surprise or 2, come visit to find out what this year will offer.

Funds raised help African grandmothers who have lost their children to HIV/AIDS and are raising their grandchildren, through the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmother to Grandmother Campaign and Help Lesotho. “We are making a difference”.
