City of Pembroke Media Release Temporary Road Closure
For Immediate Release – Friday, November 2, 2018 Pembroke Street East Rehabilitation
As part of the Pembroke Street East shave and pave project the intersection of
Pembroke Street East and Mackay Street will require traffic control by the OPP on Monday, November 5, from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm. (Weather dependant). This is required to allow for the paving of the top surface of Pembroke Street East.
The City of Pembroke asks that drivers respect the posted construction signage and traffic control persons at all times.
You are also reminded that the businesses within the construction and detour zones remain open for business and the many business owners would be happy to serve you. Businesses not accessible from a side street will be signed for access off Pembroke Street.
