The Salvation Army on Confederation Street will be hosting the World Day of Prayer on March 1.
Four area churches will be holding services in the Sarnia area with about 26 area churches participating. This year's global, ecumenical prayer service was organized in Canada by the Women's Inter-Church Council of Canada, WICC. The service was written by the women of Slovenia.
All are welcome at the services. Proceeds from the free will offering support women's and social justice projects in Canada and around the world. Services are also being held at Trinity Anglican, the Camlachie United and St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.
