Public Notices/Announcements - Belleville - Mobility Workshop & Medical Scooter RODEO

The Prince Edward County Community Safety & Wellbeing Committee is hosting an educational and FUN  afternoon in the Rotary Hall at the Prince Edward Community Centre, 375 Main Street on Thursday, June 6th at 1:00pm.  There will be vendors showing off the latest in mobility aids such as canes, walkers, scooters, and much more.  Come at 1:00 pm to visit the exhibitors, presentations start at 1:30pm, followed by a medical scooter demonstration by the Fire Chief, Deputy Chief of Paramedic Services and the Detachment Commander of the OPP. Medical scooters will be available to try out and participants can bring their own and run the scooter course. This Mobility Scooter Rodeo is free for all and refreshments will be available.  Free transportation will be provided.
