Community Event - Niagara - Mother's Day Tea & Hat-Making at the Pumphouse

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

Join us at the Niagara Pumphouse for a Mother's Day afternoon tea and Hat-Making Workshop. Learn about the historical shako hat and then design your own contemporary fascinator to wear while enjoying afternoon tea with mom.

In celebration of the Niagara Pumphouse's 25th anniversary, we are pleased to launch a new project: Looking Back - Forging Forward, thanks to the generous support of the Niagara Region’s Niagara Investment in Culture program. The project is a series of educational pop-up art-making opportunities and engaging cultural experiences for all ages and interests. Inspired by Niagara's history and delivered through contemporary perspectives by local artists.

The Niagara Pumphouse has partnered with Niagara Parks and Niagara Historical Society & Museum for their historical expertise on Niagara's history and people which will inspire the pop-ups.
