“Steps To The Past” - The Nipissing District Branch of Ontario Ancestors, Ontario Genealogical Society, will be presenting a five week course for those with little or no experience in genealogical research. An experienced instructor will show participants the steps to discovering and recording their family history. Course will include record keeping, finding documents, citing sources, on-line research, etc. One-on-one assistance available for all participants. Dates – Saturdays – September 7th to 28th and October 5th. Location – North Bay Library, Joan Duquette Room, Upper Mezzanine. Time - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. Class Size – Limited to ten with preregistration required. Deadline for Registration – August 23rd. Fee - $30 OGS members or $40 for non-members.
