The Windsor Branch of the Ukrainian National Federation is holding a Ukrainian Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, August 24, 12-6pm. at the UNF Hall at 1033 Ottawa. The event will run beheld between noon and 6:00 p.m. and will include Ukrainian music, dance, and homemade Ukrainian food for purchase. We would also like to try forming a "human" flag of Ukraine this year at Lanspeary Park comprised of individuals wearing yellow and blue shirts. Let's see if we can set a record for Ontario or Canada!
