Caring Listeners Needed! Telecare Distress Centre of Peterborough presents Fall Training for New Phone Volunteers beginning Wed. Sept. 25, 2019 7 p.m. at Trinity United Church (360 Reid St., Peterborough, K9H 4G3). Care for lonely, troubled or distressed callers. Training is 50 hours and cost $50. (Subsidies available) Interactive sessions and presentations by local community experts develop listening skills, awareness of social, emotional and psychological needs and resources.
