Join us on October 11th at St. Clair Centre for the Arts, as we celebrate our second annual Dreamer Day on International Day of the Girl!
Founded in 2014, Build a Dream is designed to educate encourage and inspire young women (Grade 7 - 12) to pursue careers in skilled trades, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Emergency Response and Entrepreneurship.
- We create programs that will encourage young women to consider various career opportunities and make informed decisions.
- We develop partnerships with employers to offer hands-on camps for young women to experience these job sectors.
- We help provide the right tools, resources, and mentorshipfor young women.
- We provide parents with the tools to help their children make informed career choices.
All proceeds will go towards supporting our programming across Canada. Also, we will be honouring our founding partners, community dream makers, and some of our dreamers.
