The Park in the City Committee, with the help of community volunteers will be planting 60 native, large caliper trees and 500 pollinator wild flowers at Firemen’s Park on Friday, October 18 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Residents who are interested in participating can register online at www.niagarafalls.ca/pitc. The event is part of a TD Bank grant that also enabled the committee to have 80 more trees installed at various parks that have recently received new playgrounds.
