Do you like Haiku’s
As much as we like Haiku’s
Well, we sure hope so.

The Windsor Poetry Slam is back again for its monthly slam and this month’s feature, a Haiku Deathmatch!

The slam will be held at Phog Lounge on Tuesday, September 24th. Doors will be open at 7:30 pm; the show will start at 8 pm. If you want to slam please be there by 7:45 pm at the latest to sign up. As always, two rounds of three-minute poems, along with an open mic portion for anyone who wants to share their poems but not compete in the slam and, some sacrifices.

There will be cash prizes for the top poets!

Come watch as 2018 Haiku Grand Champion, Benny Alexander defends his title against challenger, Samantha Michelle!

These two will go head to head with their haikus, and the audience will choose their favourite poem of the round by applause. The first poet to win 10 rounds will win the title of Windsor Poetry Slam's 2019 Haiku Grand Champion!

Will Samantha Michelle be able to dethrone Benny Alexander? Or will he walk away with the crown two years running? Find out.
