YourTV Niagara - An Interactive Evening With Dr. Phil Ticket Giveaway
Contest Rules and Regulations:
Contest begins at 12:01 PM EST ("Eastern Standard Time") on Tuesday October 29th, 2019 and closes at 11:59 AM EST on Monday, November 4th, 2019 - the "Contest Period".
To enter and be eligible to win, the contest entrant must be twenty one (21) years of age or older, a Cogeco Connexion customer, and a resident of Ontario. Employees of, or members of the immediate family of, or persons domiciled with an employee of Cogeco Connexion, the contest sponsors, their parent, affiliated or related companies, subsidiaries, divisions, and promotional agencies, are ineligible.
There will be one (1) prize awarded. The prize includes two (2) tickets to see Dr. Phil (host of TV’s #1 daytime talk show) on Wednesday November 13th, 7:30 PM at The Scotiabank Civic and Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
The winner will be selected by random draw among all eligible entries received during the contest period on Monday November 4th at 1:00 pm If the winner does not confirm their acceptance of the prize by 11:59 PM EST on Wednesday, November 6th, a second random draw will occur and the new winner will be contacted. If this second winner has not confirmed acceptance of the prize by 11:59 PM EST on Friday, November 8th, 2019, then the contest will be declared closed with no declared winner. With each new selection the previous winner will be disqualified from collecting the prize and will be removed from the draw.
The winner will be notified by a Cogeco Connexion staff member, via email or Facebook, that they have won the contest and winning prize. Prize must be accepted as awarded. Prize may not be sold, transferred and is not convertible to cash. Proof of identification must be provided upon request.
Upon confirmation from the winning entrant arrangements will be made between the local YourTV system manager and the prize winner for the pick-up, mailing, or specific arrangements of the prize.
Contest sponsors reserve the right to substitute the prize in whole or in part in the event that any component of the prize is unavailable.
Before being awarded the prize, the potential winner will be required to sign and return within the time stipulated by the contest sponsors, a full release and indemnity form stating that he/she has read, understood and complied with these official contest rules, beyond the awarding of the prize, accepts the prize as offered and releases the contest sponsors from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the potential winner's participation in this contest and receipt and use of the prize. In the event that the winner refuses to sign the declaration or release form the entrant is no longer eligible for the prize, and the above protocol will be followed.
By entering this contest, each contestant consents to the use of their entry, name, city, designation and/or photograph to be used in any publicity carried out by YourTV and their advertising agencies, without further compensation. All entries become the property of YourTV.
All decisions of the contest organizers are final. YourTV and the sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should the prize offered become unavailable for any reason. The contest entry selection process is final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of the prizes. YourTV and contest sponsors shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the contest including any damage to an entrant's computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, as a result of their participation in this contest or downloading any material from the contest website, where applicable.
All entries which are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by YourTV. YourTV takes no responsibility for lost, or misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production or distribution errors.
YourTV will run this contest in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment. YourTV may, by announcement on YourTV, withdraw the contest at any time in the event of production or other unanticipated problems or irregularities.
Contestants must comply with these rules and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the contest. If a discrepancy occurs between these rules and any promotion of the contest, these rules will be deemed to be correct.
