The County Seniors Centre has made arrangements for the Prince Edward Family Health Team to hold a free presentation on the Importance of Blood Pressure on Heart Health followed by a blood pressure clinic on Wednesday, November 6th at the Picton Town Hall located at 2 Ross Street in Picton starting at 12:30pm. High blood pressure is a dangerous condition in adults that is a major risk factor for heart attack and stroke. Blood Pressure Clinics enable you to have your blood pressure checked by a professional nurse. This drop in clinic will start at 1:00 and end at 3:00pm. This talk and clinic will follow the Seniors Lunch & Learn being held at noon; cost for the lunch is $10.00. Call to register for the lunch by noon November 5th.
