Leamington Council has set the final property tax due dates to July 31, 2020 and October 30, 2020.
Establishing new and later property tax due dates, is in addition to the previously announced financial relief measures by Leamington Council, including:
- Deferring the second instalment for the 2020 Interim Property Taxes until May 15, 2020.
- Waiving all penalties and interest on any overdue balances through to and including June 30, 2020.
- Waiving all returned cheque or electronic payment fees through to and including June 30, 2020.
These financial relief measures reflect the Municipality’s concerns for the community’s well-being and economic conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic. For more information on financial relief measures put in place to assist the community, please visit www.leamington.ca/COVID-19.
