Kawartha Lakes Animal Wellness Society (KLAWS) was started in 2013 and is a local volunteer driven group. We strive to make a difference in the lives of abandoned, lost/found and stray animals in the City of Kawartha Lakes and beyond. We are now collecting wine, liquor, beer bottles/cans, wine bladders year round - anything that is returnable to the beer store! As with all our fundraisers, 100% of the funds goes directly towards the care of the animals we assist.
