Kingston Grandmother Connection’s Market for Africa

Our popular Market for Africa returns for in-person shopping. Come to Crossroads United Church on Saturday, November 5 and shop till you drop, through 3 rooms of goods. You will find African crafts and baskets, Christmas crafts, pre-loved jewellery and winter wear, our sewing creations, baking, art and Nature Note Cards, eco products and Sandglass Creations. And stay for our soup luncheon. All for a good cause: funds raised go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign, and Help Lesotho, to assist grandmothers in Africa and their families, hard hit by the AIDS pandemic and other challenges.

When: Saturday, November 5, 9am-2pm

Where: Crossroads United Church, 690 Sir John A MacDonald Blvd. (near the Kingston Centre)
