A 40-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after police responded to a disturbance early Wednesday
morning.
On Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 4:00 a.m., police attended a residence in the north end of Cobourg for a
report of a disturbance. Two separate calls were received, detailing erratic and threatening behaviour.
As a result of the police investigation, a 40-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with two
counts of uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm – Spousal and two counts of uttering threats – cause
death or bodily harm.
The accused was held for bail and remanded into custody.
