On Sunday, August 13th , 2023, at approximately 1:00pm, Cobourg Police Service officers observed a male on the CN tracks.
Through investigation it was revealed that the male was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
A 58-year-old Cobourg resident was arrested and charged with the following offences:
1) Theft Under $5,000, contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code
2) Fail to Attend Court, contrary to section 145(2)(b) of the Criminal Code
The accused was released on an Undertaking with a future court date in September, 2023.
