A 16-year-old driver has been charged for his role in a crash on Highway 35 at County Road 121.
City of Kawartha Lakes OPP say the collision involved a car and SUV and took place around 4:30pm Thursday afternoon.
The highway was closed from Ranchers Road to Powell’s Road.
Police say the accused was charged with several offences including assault of a peace officer with a weapon.
