Four Toronto residents face charges after police responded to a theft from a business in the Town of Cobourg Friday night.
On Friday, September 1st, 2023, at 8:30 p.m., police received a report of a theft in progress at a business on King Street West in Cobourg.
Four individuals entered the business, selected perfume and cosmetics, concealed the items in their clothing and left the store without paying for the merchandise.
As a result of the police investigation, a 35-year-old male, a 37-year-old male, a 27-year-old female and a 34- year-old female from Toronto were arrested and charged with theft under $5,000.
They were released on an undertaking with a future court date.
