Community Event - Burlington/Oakville - Canadian Club of Halton Announces 2023-24 Speakers

The Canadian Club of Halton (CCH) announces its new season with headliners from across a wide spectrum of interesting and timely subjects. The September 21st dinner features Dr. Tracy Rogers – Forensic Anthropology; the Real Bones”.  With the event returning to the Oakville Conference Centre, the fee for the combined 3-course dinner and speaker presentation is $60.00/member and $70.00/non-member.  However, space is limited and sales at the door are not possible.  Doors open at 6:00pm with advance ticket registration on-line at  www.canadianclubhalton.ca and e-transfer available at pmt@canadianclubhalton.ca  Registration closes Midnight Monday, September 18th.   In addition to Dr Rogers, the 2023-24 Canadian Club of Halton dinner/speaker series includes the following notable Canadians: Adam Shoalts, Author “Beyond the Trees: A Journey Alone Across Canada’s Arctic”, October 19; Lisa Raitt, Former Federal MP and Alzheimer's Advocate, November 16; Dr. Blair Bigham, MD MSc DTMH FRCPC DRCPSC, health journalist, and author of “Death Interrupted”, January 18; Rob Goodman, PhD, Assistant Professor Politics and Public Administration, Toronto Metropolitan University, March 21; and Dr. David Novog, PhD, Professor and NSERC Industrial Research Chair, Co-Director of McMaster Institute for Energy Studies, April 18.  The February 15 speaker will be announced at a later date.
