RCHA REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONY
The Royal Canadian Horse Artillery Brigade Association (RCHA) hosts a special ceremony on Remembrance Day at the RCHA Memorial on Saturday November 11. The RCHA Memorial is in City Park, on the corner of Barrie & King Street. The service will commence at 10.45 a.m. conducted by retired gunner L/Col Bob Chamberlain. It will be supported by 2 RCHA from Petawawa, who will provide a gun detachment to fire two rounds at the beginning and end of the 2 minutes silence. Five wreaths will be placed. Padre, George Bruce, the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Ontario will offer prayers for the fallen and serving military. Janet McCrae, trumpeter, Michael K. Myers, soloist and a piper are included. All are welcome at a reception at the RCHA Club following the service.
