Cobourg Police Service (CPS) is looking for interested residents to join the Community Safety Advisory Committee. Applications are due November 30, 2023.
As part of the Downtown Action Plan and in alignment with CPS’s strategic priorities of public trust and commitment, CPS is implementing a Community Safety Advisory Committee. The Community Safety Advisory Committee will be comprised of ten (10) Cobourg residents who will provide regular input and constructive feedback related to the various policing services.
The Community Safety Advisory Committee will:
• Provide information and informed advice to the Office of the Chief of Police on a variety of matters;
• Help identify issues and concerns relating to policing in local neighbourhoods;
• Act as ambassadors for the promotion of positive police and community relations.
Applicants must be residents of the Town of Cobourg and are required to complete an application package submitted to communitysafetyadvisory@cobourgpolice.com by November 30, 2023.
