Welland Restaurants Donating a Portion of Proceeds to FACS Niagara
WELLAND, Ont., Nov. 9, 2023: To celebrate the heartwarming impact of kindness during the holiday
season, Tim Hortons is launching its first-ever national Holiday Smile Cookie campaign on Monday, Nov.
13, 2023, with FACS Niagara chosen as one of the beneficiaries of the campaign. From the support of
eight Tim Hortons restaurants in Welland during the week of Nov. 13-19, FACS Niagara will be able to
help create a magical holiday season for the hundreds of families they serve on an ongoing basis.
“The holiday season is an important time for the children, youth, and families we serve,” says Brett
Sweeney, Director of Communications and Community Engagement. “We recognize that there are times
in people’s lives when they need a hand up and we are so pleased to be there to provide this support.
Thank you to the Tim Hortons Welland restaurants for being such fantastic partners in this effort.”
Proceeds raised from the Holiday Smile Cookies will help bring holiday magic to the lives of children
served by FACS Niagara by funding toys, gifts, food, and necessities. It will also support FACS Niagara’s
Home for the Holidays events which provide a place for youth in care to come together and celebrate
major holidays with the FACS team and other young people who have spent time in care.
The Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie is a delicious, white chocolate chip sugar cookie that is infused
with green and red sprinkles and topped with a hand-decorated smile. These cookies are available for
bulk purchasing by filling out a Pre-Order Form located at www.facsniagarafoundation.org and brought
to any Welland Tim Hortons location.
