The Town is excited to host NOTL Gives Back for the fourth consecutive year, an event that rallies community participation to collect donations of new or gently used clothing, non-perishable food items, and toys to support those within Niagara-on-the-Lake and beyond. This event is facilitated in collaboration with community partners, Niagara-on-the-Lake Minor Hockey Association, Revel Realty, Fine Estates Team and Team MAC Inc.
Event details are as follows:
- Date: Saturday, November 25, 2023
- Time: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Location: Meridian Credit Union Arena – Mary Snider Room (1567 Four Mile Creek Road, Virgil)
- Hot chocolate and cookies will be available, and rumour has it that a big, jolly, white-bearded man may be visiting from the North Pole!
"NOTL Gives Back is a fantastic collective effort for our community to support those in need during the holidays," stated Lord Mayor Gary Zalepa. "Thank you to the Niagara-on-the-Lake Minor Hockey Association, Revel Realty, Fine Estates Team and Team MAC Inc. for partnering with the Town to make this event a success!"
"The generosity and compassion displayed by our community during this annual event is nothing short of extraordinary," stated CAO Marnie Cluckie. "NOTL Gives Back was initiated during the pandemic when the need for donations was at an all-time high. Unfortunately, the need for support in our community and beyond still exists, and we hope that through this event, we can help those most vulnerable and in need of our support this holiday season."
Donated food and clothing will support Newark Neighbours, while toys will be donated to McMaster Children's Hospital. Those donating new and gently used clothing are asked to identify which items are new and gently used. Donations can also be dropped off at Revel Realty (1596 Four Mile Creek Road, Virgil) during business hours until Monday, December 4, 2023.

It is a pleasure to once again partner with the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and Niagara-on-the-Lake Minor Hockey Association to help facilitate our 14th Christmas Toy Drive, which also includes new and gently used clothing as well as non-perishable food items,” stated Founder of MAC Inc & Broker at Revel, Jessie MacDonald. “Sick children from the area staying at McMaster Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House will be directly impacted, which will help parents focus on what matters most: their children's health. I hope to see many familiar faces at the event.”
