Annual Poinsettia Show at the Floral Showhouse
November 18, 2023 – January 7, 2024
Niagara Parks’ Annual Poinsettia Show is now open at the Floral Showhouse. Explore rows of cascading poinsettias, including traditional holiday landscapes with modern touches of brilliant colours and lights that make the warmth and magic of the holiday season come to life.
As part of the Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights (November 18, 2023 – January 7, 2024), the Floral Showhouse will stay open later in the evening, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., with special lighting enhancements that add to the enchanting poinsettia display. It's an ideal opportunity to take a break from the frosty temperatures and bask in the warmth and beauty of this historic venue during the evening hours. Meet and Greet with Santa Claus
December 8-9, 15-16 and 22, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Santa Claus will be making a special appearance at the Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse during the Poinsettia Show on select nights in December as part of the Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights, presented by Niagara Falls Tourism. Guests are invited to enjoy a meet and greet with Santa and take a free photo on December 8-9, 15-16, and 22 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Don't miss the chance to meet Santa and create lasting memories at the Floral Showhouse. McFarland Heritage Christmas
December 1-3, 6-8 and 9-10
Christmas returns to McFarland House this year, beginning with the Niagara-on-the-Lake Rotary’s Holiday Home Tour from December 1 to 3. The following week, the heritage home will host the Yuletide Afternoon Tea from December 6 through December 8. Experience a traditional Victorian Christmas as you indulge in a selection of seasonal teas and delectable treats, including scones, finger sandwiches and holiday-inspired desserts.
On December 9 and 10, guests will be able to enjoy a holiday-themed tour of McFarland House, adorned with traditional, all-natural handmade decorations by the Garden Club of Niagara. Homemade cookies and hot beverages will be available for purchase, and guests are welcome to enjoy their treats in the glassed-enclosed conservatory. Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights

Canada's foremost illumination festival, the Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights presented by Niagara Falls Tourism, returns to Niagara Falls for 51 nights of twinkling lights until January 7, 2024. All along the Niagara Parkway, guests can engage in playful experiences with interactive light installations in Queen Victoria Park, explore the iconic Poinsettia Show at the Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse, experience the mesmerizing sound and light show, Currents, at the Niagara Parks Power Station and indulge in a Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate with Wayne Gretzky’s Salted Caramel Cream Whiskey at Table Rock House Restaurant, as part of the destination-wide Hot Chocolate Trail (non-alcoholic option also available).
