From Monday December 11 through Monday December 25, donations to Village of Hope Niagara will be matched. We will be attending our Village through the holiday season. Need in the community doesn't take a holiday.

Our goal this Season of Hope is $75,000 raised before the new year – With 100% more registrations of families, and Seniors during the past weeks, our community needs our Village, now more than ever.
Our Lincoln neighbours in need are facing the most difficult season of all. Without sufficient incomes or supports, many will remain food and shelter insecure. While all around are joyous with the coming celebrations many in our community know only anxiety and despair, with futures uncertain. We’re working now through the holidays to see that our neighbours too can feel hope and find joy with a Season of Hope festive dinner (and more) with their children, parents, and partners.
In our community of Lincoln, as many as 1 in 6 among our neighbours, are going hungry a part of each month. With food costs up by 9.7 per cent, and shelter costs up by 7.4 per cent, seniors, children, and their families in our community are dramatically affected. Food insecurity, not having enough money to buy food - is a serious public health problem in Ontario; 16.7% of households in Ontario are food insecure; 63% of households who are food insecure have employment as their main income; 59% of households receiving social assistance are food insecure.
PLEASE SPONSOR, or DONATE for a Family $250, Senior $100, or Child $50 (or other amount) so that we may provide a Holiday Food Hamper and gifts to our Lincoln neighbours in need. We make a community by the care we share. Be the difference this Season of Hope!
Village of Hope Niagara, with our team of more than 80 local volunteers, provides access to our food bank, and more than 30 positive, preventative, and proactive programs of assistance – benefiting more than 1700 people monthly, throughout the year.
