The West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) concluded the Festive Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) campaign with multiple charges laid.
The Festive R.I.D.E campaign ran from November 16, 2023, to January 1, 2024, with members completing multiple R.I.D.E checks during that time. Results of the campaign include:
- 61 R.I.D.E checks conducted
- 11 Impaired driving charges
- One Warn range suspension
