The Town of Cobourg Legislative Services Division would like to inform all residents that a Special Meeting of Council will take place on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 9 a.m.
In accordance with Section 239 of the Municipal Act S.O. 2001 Council will meet in Closed Session to discuss items that are subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose (s. 239 (2) (f)).
Please be advised that pursuant to Section 5.11 of the Town of Cobourg Procedural By-law a Special Meeting has been called of Cobourg Municipal Council scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. for the purposes of adjourning into a Closed Session. The Public will see a Closed Session screen on the livestream of the Special Meeting indicating Council is in Closed Session.
