Community Camera Registry Program
The Community Camera Registry is a volunteer registry of CCTV cameras and doorbell cams in Cobourg.
Residents and businesses can register their cameras with CPS so that in the event of an incident, CPS can contact the camera owner to request footage of the area.
Here is how it works:
• Register your camera’s location and contact info — no other details are needed.
• Your information stays private and is only accessible to the police.
• If a crime occurs nearby, the police may contact you to request footage.
• You’re in control — update or remove your details anytime.
