(NORTH ALGONA WILBERFORCE TWP, ON) - The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after a telephone utility box in North-Algona Wilberforce (NAW) Township was recently damaged on two separate occasions.
On the evening of February 12, 2024, a telephone utility box on School Road, near the intersection of Lake Dore Road in NAW, was intentionally damaged. Repairs were conducted to restore service and on the evening of February 13, 2024, the same telephone utility box was damaged again, causing a disruption of phone services to several households.
