Village of Hope Niagara welcomes the coming Spring with the sense of renewal and hope it can bring. It's our chance to chart a new course for ourselves, and for our neighbours in need.
New registrations of local families at Village of Hope Niagara steadily increase with each passing week.
Families are facing dire circumstances, without sufficient food or sufficient income to improve their situation.
We will begin our Spring of Hope campaign March 15. Our goal is to ensure that all our registered local
families and seniors will be sponsored – Family $250 or a Senior $100. With your support over 500 local
families, and seniors, will receive a Spring of Hope hamper with fresh food, personal care items, and a home garden
starter package of vegetable seeds, soil, and our support. Village of Hope Niagara needs donors at every level for our Spring of Hope campaign.
Our Catch the Ace Lincoln VoHN, progressive raffle benefiting Village of Hope Niagara's programs
alleviating food insecurity, and more, has returned. Tickets for the premiere draw Thursday March 7 at
6PM are on sale NOW. Weekly draws will take place each Thursday until the Ace of Spades is found, or all
the tickets have been sold. Tickets cost $10.00 per ticket, or 3 tickets for $20.00
Village of Hope Niagara's Annual Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday March 30, from Noon until

In our community, as many as 1 in 6 among our neighbours, are going hungry a part of each month. With
food costs up by 9.7 per cent, and shelter costs up by 7.4 per cent, seniors, children, and their families
in our community are dramatically affected. Food insecurity affects 16.7% of households in Ontario;
63% of households who are food insecure have employment as their main income; 59% of households
receiving social assistance are food insecure.
Village of Hope Niagara, with our team of more than 80 local volunteers, provides access to our food bank, and
more than 30 positive, preventative, and proactive programs of assistance – benefiting more than 1800 people
monthly, throughout the year.
We invite you to follow us on social media, and share the news of our work in the community,
