
March 14, 2024 – Spring is just days away and there are plenty of new recreational and
swimming programs to keep residents of St. Catharines active in the months ahead.
Spring program registration will open online (stcatharines.ca/ActiveSTC) to residents at
6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19. The first day residents can register in-person is
Wednesday, March 20 at the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre, beginning at 8:30
a.m.
Non-residents can register online via ActiveSTC starting Thursday, March 21 at 6 p.m.,
followed by in-person registration beginning on Friday, March 22 at 8:30 a.m.
Priding itself as the “City Where Everybody Can Play!”, the City is once again offering a
wide variety of programming that will cater to individuals of all ages. Highlights for this
spring include:
• Sewing Club with Creative Bug – Bucket Hat (7 to 14 years)
• SMASH Art Club (5 to 10 years)
• Exploring the Arts: Acrylics (7 to 14 years)
• Kids and Youth Yoga (4 to 7 years and 8 to 14 years)
• Self Portraits for Kids with Miss Kathy (7 to 11 years)
• Pound Fitness
• Pilates: Introduction to Reformer
• Mom and Baby Fitness
• Soapstone Carving
Spots are limited for programming, so be sure to register early. For more information on
