TIM HORTONS SMILE COOKIE CAMPAIGN PARTNERS WITH PORT CARES

(April 23, 2024 - PORT COLBORNE) Tim Hortons 2024 Smile Cookie
Campaign officially begins on Monday, April 29th at all participating Tim
Hortons locations. For the campaign this year, Port Colborne Tim Hortons are
partnering with Port Cares, helping to raise money to fund services for low
income families and individuals struggling to make ends meet, with 100% of the
proceeds being donated in support of the Reach Out Centre charitable
operations, including food bank, hot meals and a school children’s lunch kit
program.

For 1 week (April 29th through May 5th), the iconic chocolate chunk cookies
topped with pink and blue icing drawing out a smile will be available at every Tim
Hortons restaurant across the country. Smile Cookies are available for purchase
in Port Colborne direct from restaurant locations at 197 Main Street East, 429
Main Street West and 287 West Side Road.

“Port Cares is a charity and relies on fundraising and donations to provide relief to families experiencing poverty,” explains Port Cares CEO Christine Clark-
Lafleur, “We have more and more young working families with children and seniors coming to the food bank because of the rising costs of living and lack of
affordable housing. We provide groceries and hot meals as South Niagara’s
largest food bank, as well as critical housing loss prevention services, crisis
intervention and other vital resources to the community, but we simply could not
do what we do without the community support.”
