The Niagara SPCA and Humane Society’s high volume, low cost spay/neuter animal clinic in Welland is
celebrating 10 years of providing service to pet owners in Niagara and beyond. Since May of 2014, the clinic
which operates 5 days a week, has performed just over 33,000 spay and neuter operations on dogs and cats.
Pet owners who book surgery also have the option of adding rabies and core vaccines as well as
microchipping.
The cost for spay / neuter services for dogs currently range from $220 to $310 depending on weight and cats
are $120.
“The success of the clinic and how consistently busy we are is a testament to how much of a need there is for
such a valuable service in the community”, says Erin, a Registered Veterinary Technician and Clinic
Supervisor. She continues, "I am so proud to have been a part of this great team since the beginning and to
