The Niagara SPCA & Humane Society, in collaboration with PetSmart Charities of Canada, is organizing a
four-day tent event from May 30th to June 2nd at PetSmart in Niagara Falls to promote the adoption of dogs
and cats seeking their forever homes.
This initiative, made possible by a generous grant from PetSmart
Charities of Canada, provides an opportunity for adoptable pets to interact with potential adopters in a public
setting. The event facilitates meet-and-greets, allowing interested individuals to engage with the animals and
learn more about their backgrounds and temperaments. Tammy Gaboury, the shelter's Animal Care Manager,
expressed gratitude for the support of PetSmart Charities of Canada and PetSmart Niagara Falls in making
this event possible. She emphasized the importance of such events in showcasing the many adoptable dogs
and cats in their care, increasing the chances of finding them loving and permanent homes.
On Saturday, June 1st, the event will feature vendors including Happy Paws Pet Photography, Critter Cabs,
Grey Wolf Animal Health, Travelling K-9 Dog Rescue, and Beyond Donuts Niagara
