the Peterborough Concert Band will perform at St John’s Anglican Church during the church’s annual Strawberry Social which runs from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Tickets for the Strawberry Social are $10 beginning June 2. Tickets will be $12 at the door. Children 5 and under are free.

Music by the two winners of the Emerging Composers’Program will be premiered. Music includes Birdland Baba Yetu and other lively tunes. The Strawberry social is a time-honoured tradition with delicious refreshments including fresh strawberries. Tickets go on sale at St John’s starting June 2nd.Proceeds go to the School Breakfast Program. The band will be in the sanctuary if it rains.
