Summer program registration starts June 11

You can keep that commitment to yourself to stay active and try new activities starting next week, by registering for one or more of the programs being offered by the City this summer.

Summer program registration will launch online for residents of St. Catharines on June 11 at 6 p.m. Starting June 12, residents will be able to register in-person at the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

For non-residents, registration starts online on June 13 at 6 p.m., with in-person registration beginning June 14 at 8:30 a.m., also at the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre.

You will also be able to register for the City’s aquatic programming, which includes swimming lessons, happening throughout the summer.

Priding itself as the “City Where Everybody Can Play!”, the City is once again offering a wide variety of programming this summer that will cater to individuals of all ages. Highlights include:

  • HopOn, learn to cycle – a grassroots program launched by Ontario Cycling, designed to help young people master basic cycling skills and build confidence through achievement (7 to 11 years old)
  • Tennis lessons for all ages
  • Skateboarding lessons
  • Pilates
  • Explore The Arts: Textiles with Creative Bug (7 to 14 years old)
  • Print Making for Kids - Join Miss Kathy to create a cool canvas and acrylic 'selfie' and try some printmaking techniques
  • Babysitting courses

Make sure to register early as spots are limited for programming.
