Please be advised that on July 22, the Town of Grimsby will begin the rehabilitation work on the existing Ridge Road East Culvert and Bridge located approximately 145 metres West of Thirty Road. The estimated completion date is November 1, 2024.
The rehabilitation work includes full removal and replacement of the structure including installation of cast in place concrete wing walls, guiderails and roadway restoration.
The bridge will be closed to the public until project completion. During this time, every effort will be made to minimize inconveniences to residents. The detour route will be Elm Tree Road, and signage will be posted to guide motorists around the closure.
