
Lincoln, ON – (July 22, 2024) – The Lincoln Museum and Cultural Centre is preparing for its bi-annual exhibit changeover, with some exhibits being closed from July 29 to August 12, 2024. During this time, the building and site will remain open for visitors in the historic buildings and Fraktur exhibit.
Historic Building Tours: Available Tuesday – Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Fraktur Exhibit: Open Tuesday – Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Summer Camps: No impact on scheduled activities.
New Exhibit: Scheduled to open on August 13, 2024.
Upcoming Exhibits:
Growing Up
Using many objects from the Museum’s vault, the historical exhibit, Growing Up, explores the history of rural Canadian childhood and how the concept of childhood has changed since the 1800s.
Lincoln Remix
Childhood is also explored by artist Steven White in his exhibit, Lincoln Remix, which uses recycled parts from thrift shops, yard sales, and junkyards in Ontario to playfully dream about the past, present, and future.
